September 29, 2010

If you have decided to purchase a Samsung Vibrant, you will have one of the most sought after smart phones on the market today. As the latest phone offering from technology giant Samsung, the Vibrant is an excellent smart phone with numerous features, such as a dazzling four inch multi touch display and a camera shooting 5 megapixel photos and shooing 1280 x 720 720p high definition video. As a result, many smart phone owners identify their phones as investments, and as a result, a booming industry of accessories has been made available to assist owners in protecting their investments. You can purchase all kinds of Samsung Vibrant accessories to help you get the most out of your smart phone and protect it from damage when you are out living life. Despite the stand by two week battery life, the Samsung Vibrant can benefit from useful accessories such as the Vibrant charger that will always help keep the Vibrant powered. Having Samsung Vibrant car chargers is a great way to ensure you don't run out of battery power in the middle of a conversation while you are in your car. And for when you aren't driving, Samsung Vibrant desktop chargers are used by some smart phone owners who want to be able to keep their smart phones topped off while they are at home.

If you have never purchased a smart phone case before, you may not know the variety of cases available for the Samsung Vibrant. While there are many manufacturers with many products on the market, most decisions boil down to purchasing leather or plastic cases. Different types of Samsung Vibrant cases have its advantages and disadvantages. Let's first talk about plastic cases. In general, plastic cases come in three strengths, which depend on the materials from which they are made. The lightest and least durable or protective cases are those that are essentially screen protectors; these are good for keeping dust and light scratches off your Samsung Vibrant, but they will not do much to protect it in a fall. Next comes soft silicone cases, which will offer stronger and more effective protection than its screen protector counterparts. Last but not least, there are the hard plastic cases. These will typically be the most expensive of the three, but they'll also offer the most protection.

However, while you may want a case for your Samsung Vibrant, you might want to put on a leather case. Leather cases are generally more visually appealing than their plastic counterparts. They look better, which may make people more likely to use them. But their protection usually lacks in comparison to the type of security a good plastic case can offer.

Get More Affordable Calls While On Holiday

September 29, 2010
Author: Matt

Not long ago I went to Spain (Moraira holiday) where I manage to get calls much cheaper than most people. A GSM phone that is also unlocked is what you need. This will allow you to change the SIM card and make use of the phone network in Spain without having extortionate roaming charges. If you have a phone with a camera you can take Spanish villa images also.

With a GSM phone you now have a few money saving options to take. One option is to get yourself an international SIM card. This premium SIM card will cost you $9 but also comes with $10 worth of prepaid call credit. You also get 30 minutes of free times for your friend at home to call you. This is great to save people having to pay massive fees to get hold of you in an emergency. Have the card delivered to your house before you set off and avoid any hassle of picking one up whilst on the go.

With a Happy Movil offer an easy to use SIM card for 10 euros. 5.8 cents per minute is the typical call cost and you start with 5 euros on your card. That is enough for 71 minutes of continuous call time, which should last you for a weeks holiday.

Finally using a Vodafone SIM and calling card you are able to get a full hours worth of calls for just 28c. When you call home you will be charged just 1.2c a minute, which is very cheap in comparison to the other providers. You will also get wide network coverage from Vodafone who are a popular network abroad. Which is great at stopping your leisure holidays turning into walking holidays.

The Feature Packed Samsung Wave 2

September 29, 2010
Author: Matt

Samsung recently released their Wave smartphone, largely to showcase Bada, the company’s open mobile platform. The device was well-received by customers and critics, encouraging the company to continue developing product lines featuring Bada. In an effort to reach growing markets such as Russia, Samsung has released Wave 2.

Since the Wave 2 is not intended for use in established smartphone regions, 3G network support has been replaced with GPRS/EDGE capabilities. The Wave 2 still provides WiFi b/g/n, but Bluetooth v3.0 is gone for v2.1. The Wave 2’s companion model, the Wave 2 Pro, experiences a change in design by way of a slide out QWERTY keyboard. A touch only screen is found on the standard Wave 2. Samsung’s TouchWiz is the user interface installed and the screen is 3.2 inches.

80MB of onboard memory are installed on the Samsung Wave 2 which can be amped up to 16MB by way of a microSD slot. This is of course not as much memory as is found on the more expensive smartphones, but the Wave 2 has plenty to perform the intended tasks. Geared toward social networking, the Wave 2 comes with Facebook and Twitter installed. If that is not enough, and it surely isn’t, numerous other applications can be found at the Samsung Apps store.

In order to keep the Wave 2 affordable for burgeoning markets, some of the most ancillary features are being left off of the phone. It is still an impressive handset. Granted, DivX and Xvid playback is unavailable, but there is an FM radio, GPS, microUSB, and the microSD slot mentioned before. And keeping true to its reputation as a social networking center, Samsung’s own Social Hub makes an appearance on the Wave 2, combining Facebook, Twitter, IM, and email into one easy feed. Additional software is unnecessary when downloading apps such as games and navigational functions. The Wave 2 can be synched up to a PC for larger files. Cameras are a given on smartphones, and the Wave 2 comes with a 3-megapixel version.

With the Wave still making its rounds, the Samsung Wave 2 is a nice companion intended to penetrate new markets. Not large on the latest bells and whistles, the Wave 2 focuses on affordability and reliability. The Wave series of smartphones has a winner with the Samsung Wave 2.

The third generation of Apple's iPod Touch is still the king of the hill when it comes to portable, Wi-Fi wielding media players. New additions such as Voice Control, graphics enhancements, developed convenience, higher ability, and a faster processor provide to alter and already excellent production.

It's not an simple duty to examine something ostensibly congruent to another you've looked at before but that's pretty more what we're faced with by the 3rd generation AppleiPod Touch. The primary thing you'll observe when you break through the wrappings, the sellotape and the box and eventually get the device into your hands is that it's accurate. It doesn't feature a camera. There's equal a empty space on the otherwise perfect mirrored back where the one on the iPhone would commonly be, and that pretty more sets the value. You just have to trust that all the technological advancements are on the privileged.

The iPod touch still measures an iPhone but slimmer 110 × 61.8 × 8.5 mm. It still weighs the same 115g. It still has a beautifully concise and pixel dense 3.5-inch 380 x 320 color screen in a 3:2 aspect and it still skates on the bound of not supporting sufficiency file types with just AAC, AIFF, Apple Lossless, Audible, MP3, WAV, Secure AAC in its audio arsenal; BMP, JPEG, TIFF, GIF for images and just MPEG on the video front. In fact, the only difference you'll notice on the outside is that now, you can get one with the legend "64GB" etched into it. After every other failure it nearly makes your day.

The biggest impact for the third generation is at the spirit of the design - the CPU and the RAM. Both have been elevated to match the iPhone 3GS, so it's now packed with a 833MHz ARM-Cortex 8 processor that's been underclocked to 600MHz most likely to protect the battery life. As it goes, the battery has dropped a lowercase on the last avatar going down from 36 hours for audio to 30 - either the result of a many vivid estimate than the early second or quite perchance because of having many power-hungry insides.

The performance is indeed far smoother as Apple has said. The approximation assumption is 50% faster and, tho' in practice it's a tricky object to evaluate, the undergo is noticeably exceed. Scolling about from display to display on the device has even an edge on the 3GS but the advance is at its most evident when working the faster game apps now competent to perform upper velocity process all the smoother.

There are few better changes from last period's adjoin: The advisable iPod around gets a velocity advance, a ability increment, a lower price tag, and some limited Intellect characteristic improvements. One thing remains the comparable: The contention is still lagging.

This is an MP3 player at its best. The Apple iPod Touch is by far one of the advisable MP3 players on the marketplace today with its some composer features and brilliant touch screen technologies. The iPod Touch allows you to netmail, seek the web, focus to music, watch movies and TV shows, play games, visit the App store and iTunes and so much more.
